This collection is a master-designer's take on Sakura Bloom Style. Rendered by hand in a galaxy of colors and eye-popping dye effects, Shabd for Sakura Bloom evokes the poetry of nature and the mystery and beauty of the cosmos. Utilizing a combination of techniques including hand-dying, tie-dying, and the ancient art of Shibori, Shabd has made the classic Sakura Bloom dupioni silks her canvas. Each double-layered sling is completely unique and numbered individually. The distinctive sides make every sling fully, exuberantly reversible -- two masterpieces in one. Each SHABD sling is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Shabd Simon-Alexander is an internationally renowned textile artist, designer, author and teacher with a background in fine arts. Her clothing line, shabd, is carried in high-end boutiques and art museums around the world. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NYC.
