I'm a mommy of three and my youngest was born 3 months ago. I've tried lots of baby slings, but I didn't like any of them, so I hardly ever used one. I always liked the idea of baby wearing, but never really did it much with my first two children, other than carrying them around on my hip. One of my friends introduced me to Sakura Bloom and I decided to try one for myself. Baby and I absolutely love it! It's comfortable to wear, easy to wear (once you watch a couple of YouTube videos), it's actually a cute sling to wear, and my baby boy loves it. He is always falling asleep when he's in it. My only problem is keeping the rails in the ring from bunching up, but I think that comes with practice. We've only had the sling for a couple of weeks and are still getting used to it, but it's getting easier and faster to put on and adjust. I wish I would have found this sling five years ago when my first was born! It is pricey, but if you plan on using it, it's definitely worth the money!

I ordered a Sakura Bloom sling after falling in love with The Sling Diaries. The diarists made it look so effortless! My son (now 3 months old) and I were used to our Ergo carrier, so getting used to the feel and positioning of a sling took a few attempts. Now our sling is our go-to for early morning walks around the neighborhood. My little one loves the hip carry; he can see the world in front of and behind us, and he loves having his arms out. And, without fail, within a few minutes of walking, he is snoozing. The coloring of the linen is fantastic - a perfect maple color with just the right hint of grey. If you are looking for a sling that can be an "accessory" for any outfit, the maple is definitely it - perfectly neutral without being boring. The linen is also super sturdy. My guy is getting to be quite chubby, but he still feels secure in the sling; I'm not afraid of the fabric slipping through the rings. I am so pleased with my sling - I cannot wait to order a silk one when get gets a wee bit bigger.
